A private space for us to converse and connect
Substack has added a new chat feature. I’m going ahead and giving it a try as it will be great for quick updates that I’m too lazy to do a whole Substack post about (and I’d rather keep my posts as stories and humor pieces rather than announcements like this).
To join our chat, you’ll need to download the Substack app (messages are sent via the app, not email). Turn on push notifications so you don’t miss a chance to join conversation as it happens.
How to get started
Download the app by clicking this link or the button below. Chat is only on iOS for now, but chat is coming to the Android app soon.
Open the app and tap the Chat icon. It looks like two bubbles in the bottom bar, and you’ll see a row for my chat inside.

D'oh, I have an android phone (and a very cheap one at that). I barely use smartphones, because I'm weird I guess. Maybe later once Substack updates it.
